General Terms and Conditions
Structured public terms for use of SusuBox services, based on the supplied general terms.
Introduction and agreement
SusuBox is a cashless susu and digital savings platform developed by Cursor Innovations Limited. By using SusuBox, customers agree to the applicable Terms, Privacy Policy, product rules and transaction summaries.
Eligibility
Customers must be legally capable of entering binding financial agreements, meet applicable age and identity requirements, have access to an approved wallet or payment method, and comply with laws and verification requirements.
Account registration
Customers may be required to provide name, phone number, email address, date of birth, address, next-of-kin details, identification information, wallet details and other information needed for onboarding and support.
Identity verification
SusuBox may verify identity, wallet details, transaction history and other information needed for security, product eligibility, fraud prevention, compliance and dispute resolution.
Mobile money and payment instructions
SusuBox facilitates instructions between customers and third-party mobile money operators, payment providers, banks, processors, telcos and settlement partners. Third-party systems and timelines are not fully controlled by SusuBox.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for accurate information, wallet details, sufficient balance, PIN security, device security, transaction approvals and compliance with product rules.
Fees
Fees may include service fees, withdrawal fees, settlement fees, loan-related charges, payment processing charges, mobile money charges or other product charges. Applicable fees are displayed before approval where reasonably practicable.
Security obligations
Customers must keep PINs, passwords, verification tokens, devices and credentials confidential and notify SusuBox promptly about suspected unauthorized access or suspicious communication.
Acceptable use
SusuBox may be used only for lawful personal, business, savings and financial-management purposes permitted by the Terms.
Restricted activities
Customers must not use SusuBox for fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, illegal goods or services, impersonation, unauthorized collections, abusive activity or other unlawful conduct.
Privacy
SusuBox processes personal data according to the SusuBox Privacy Policy and applicable Ghanaian data-protection requirements.
Intellectual property
SusuBox names, logos, app, website, user interfaces, workflows, text, graphics, designs, icons, scripts and related content are owned by Cursor Innovations Limited or licensors unless otherwise stated.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SusuBox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential or economic loss arising from use of the service.
Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify SusuBox, Cursor Innovations Limited and related parties against claims arising from breach, misuse, unlawful activity, inaccurate information, fraud, negligence or third-party rights violations.
Support
Support may be available through official in-app support, website contact page, email, phone, USSD prompts or customer desk. Current supplied email: support@susubox.com.
Notices
SusuBox may provide notices and disclosures electronically through the app, USSD, website, SMS, email, phone, account dashboard or other official channels.
Amendments
SusuBox may amend the Terms by publishing updated terms or giving notice through official channels, subject to applicable law.
Dispute resolution
Parties should first try to resolve disputes through customer support, good-faith negotiation or mediation. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration in Accra, Ghana under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Applicable Ghanaian law
The Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, subject to the dispute-resolution section.
Force majeure
SusuBox is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including network failure, payment partner failure, regulatory action, emergencies, disasters, power failure or cyber incidents.
